Ivana Pajkic
Ivana is a fully registered Counselling Psychologist and Jungian Psychoanalytically informed Psychotherapist with 20 years’ experience working with children, adolescents, adults, families and couples.
Ivana meets with people for 1-2 sessions to understand what brought them to therapy and decide the most suitable ways to help them meet their therapy goals. Ivana practices client-centred and relational approach with the objective of meeting people where they are at, in themselves and in their life.
Ivana works together with people presenting with, but not limited to anxiety, depression, childhood and later life trauma, obsessional thoughts and behaviours, disorders of body, affect and personality, eating disorders, grief and life transitions.
Offering her skills in deep listening, reliable presence, attuned empathy and thinking mind, Ivana aims to help people understand how their presenting difficulties affect them and learn new ways to deal with them. The goal of therapy is for people to experience a change in their symptoms that is stable and long-lasting.
Ivana is passionate about couple’s work, specifically about what people bring into their relationships and how they work through conflicts that arise in them.
