Kate Crighton
Kate is a registered Occupational Therapist who is passionate about helping individuals live a life they find meaningful. Kate completed her Bachelor of Occupational Therapy through the University of Otago in Dunedin, New Zealand. During her studies, Kate developed a strong interest in mental health care and went on to complete postgraduate studies in Mental Health and Addictions. It was here that she learnt about the recovery principles and how to meaningfully apply them to support individuals to live a fulfilling life.
Kate truly believes recovery is possible for everyone and works in a way that allows participants to discover what recovery looks like for them. She has experience working with individuals living with mental illness in both clinical and community settings.
