Scott McDonald
Scott is a registered Psychologist who works with individuals 12 years and older. He has a client-centred, psychodynamic approach that uncovers the developmental roots of thoughts, feelings, and behaviour.
Scott aims to help clients to understand themselves and their relationships at a deeper level. Scott practices therapy in an open and non-judgemental way where clients can freely explore their anxieties, interpersonal relationships, attachment issues, obsessive thought processes, intrusive thoughts, and feelings. Scott's approach views these issues through an existential lens, exploring profound concerns such as the meaning of life, freedom of choice, and feelings of isolation.
As well as being a parent, Scott has experience working with teenagers, young adults, and adults in various settings. By fostering greater self-awareness and self-acceptance, Scott empowers his clients to build healthier relationships with others and themselves.
