Nick Waltrich
Nick is a Registered Psychologist and Clinical Psychology Registrar that is passionate about helping people feel empowered and confident. Nick works with individuals aged 12 +. He has a strong passion for working with individuals from a diverse range of backgrounds and supporting them in therapy through self-exploration, self-enquiry and practical changes to foster long-term sustainable changes. He believes the therapeutic space is a powerful one, where individuals gain knowledge and skills that stay with them long after their time in therapy has finished.
Nick focuses on taking a person-centred approach, where a warm, understanding and non-judgemental environment is created to help those feel safe to share their story and feel supported through their journey. He has trained in various therapy models (CBT, ACT, Schema Therapy), and applies these depending on what fits best for the person. He focuses on developing strong relationships with those he works with, and conveying a sense that change and growth are always possible in one's life.
