Nicole Abramowitz
Nicole is an Educational & Developmental Psychology Registrar who is passionate about conducting autism assessments and counselling therapy, to improve clients’ understanding of themselves (their strengths and difficulties). She has experience working with individuals across the lifespan and various settings including early intervention, disability, schools, private practice, and drug and alcohol rehabilitation centres.
Nicole considers it a real privilege to be a part of individuals’ assessment/therapy journeys. She strongly values the therapeutic relationship whereby client and clinician collaborate together to bring about healing and change. She strives to find the balance between being compassionate, whilst also being able to challenge clients to be their best self. Nicole is a passionate advocate for mental health and neurodiversity. She uses a client-centred, neuro-affirming approach that reframes individuals ‘deficits’ as ‘differences’.
